Best vacation attractions in Bali

Bali travel attractions 2022? Seminyak is a village in Bali, but it’s packed with things to do. There is a reason why it’s considered a tourist hotspot. It’s just a short distance from the airport, and businesses are close by. It’s also a great place to stop for a break on your vacation. The first thing you should do when you get to Seminyak is figure out how to get around. There are plenty of ways to get around, but the most common is by walking. Another option is a taxi, the Bluebird brand is most common and have meters.Uber is Not an option, Grab is available but cannot operate in all areas. We have had stays in all types of accomodation in Seminyak but have some favourites that we would stay at depending on our needs. Mostly we stay in less expensive accomodation in order to maximize our time away and typically we spend little time in the resort and maximize our time seeing the country. This sacred active volcano lies in Kintamani District in Bali’s central highlands, about an hour’s drive from Ubud. The hike, along well-marked trails, is relatively easy and usually takes about two to three hours. Guided treks typically include a picnic breakfast, with eggs cooked by the steam from the active volcano. On a clear day, the views are spectacular, stretching all the way across the Batur caldera; the surrounding mountain range; and beautiful Lake Batur, the island’s main source of irrigation water. Sturdy hiking shoes are essential, and it’s advisable to wear layers, as the temperature can be cool before sunrise. You can also combine a trip here with a visit to one of Bali’s most important temples, Pura Ulun Danu Batur, on the lake’s northwest shore, and a therapeutic soak in hot springs at the beautiful village of Toya Bungkah on the banks of Lake Batur.

A beautiful seaside village/fishing town of Bali, Jimbaran offers tranquil beaches which are perfect for sunbathing. There aren’t any waves here (at least when I visited) so it was perfect for swimming too. Buleleng is the area in north Bali that is home to some of the best waterfalls in Bali (which you can read all about here). The capital of the area Singaraja is a great base for some unique airbnbs (I can suggest sunset sala for the most epic accommodation among rice paddies).

The 17th-century Pura Ulun Danu Bratan is one of Bali’s most picturesque temple complexes. It sits on a small island along the western shore of Lake Bratan, in the cool highlands of central Bali. Set against the imposing backdrop of Gunung Bratan, the thatched temples reflect on the lake, and when the water levels rise, they seem to float on its surface. Lake Bratan is one of Bali’s main sources of irrigation and drinking water, and the temple complex is dedicated to Dewi Danu, goddess of the sea and lakes. An unusual feature is the Buddhist stupa on the left of the entrance to the first courtyard, with figures of Buddha meditating in the lotus position in niches on the square base. The stupa reflects the adoption of Buddhist beliefs by Balinese Hindus. The best time to visit this sacred Hindu temple complex is early in the day, before the tourist buses arrive. The temple is especially picturesque in the soft morning light, when cool mist sometimes cloaks the lake and the mountains beyond. You can also hire a canoe and paddle out on the lake to explore the meru (thatched shrines) at close range.

This is definitely the most famous out of the three Nusa Islands. In the southwestern coast of Nusa Lembongan lies the Dream Beach, which is a remote 115 meter of a pristine stretch of white sand. But there’s more to enjoy apart from the sand and surf. While here, make sure to check out the low lying cliffs and the rock formations as well. From the beach, you can get beautiful panoramic views of the ocean and it is known for its peacefulness as well since the usual hustle and bustle of tourists isn’t here. Getting ready to explore one of the best places to visit in Bali to soak in all the charming sandy vibes. See extra info on rt-discoverbali.com.

Did they ask you to take permission from an elder to enter the city if you are in a car- Welcome to Nusa Lembongan island! No hawkers, no traffic, turquoise water and a mushroom-shaped coral offshore that’s how they introduce this small island located off the southeastern shores of Bali. Things to do: Surf at Mushroom Bay; go for diving, snorkeling, and/or cruise ride; visit seaweed farms; discover the hidden dream beach. Cant miss: Boat to Mangrove Park and explore the quietude. A tree lined street and shady beachfront – located in the village of Denpasar in southeast Bali, Sanur Beach has for long kept itself away from the changes of morbid world. It houses some important must see places in Bali which have preserved the histories in its temples and museums.
