Annual Renewal of the Premium: The premium associated with your Florida probate bond is not a onetime payment, but renews annually for as long as the Court requires surety. Options exist to prepay your premium for 2 or 3 years. Doing so offers a savings over annual renewals. Bear in mind, however, that should your case be resolved and your bond exonerated (essentially, no longer needed as determined by the Court), no refunds, either in full or prorated, will be offered. What we’ll need will be the following: A copy of the Order appointing you as an Administrator or Guardian, along with the surety bond amount required; A completion of an application. We’ll be able to accept the application verbally from you over the phone. Your signature will not be needed; Payment of the premium.
