Purchase cleaning cloth online

We produce a chemical free cleaning cloth that cleans any surface streak free, spot free, lint free with just water, washable and reusable for 3 years. This is the original streakfree cloth american made. Cleans mirrors, glass, windshields, stainless steel, granite top counters spot free lint free. The most fabulous cleaning cloth ever, clean almost everything with just water. Read more info on Streakfree washable reusable cloth.

I only use the microfiber cloth for streaks left from cleaning up smudges or food on my refrig. I use a soft cloth sprayed with stainless cleaner for overall cleaning of appliances. I use Streak Free cloths for everything else: dusting, mirrors, windows. Some stainless is harder to clean than others.

These really are magic. I cut and used one small (about 5″x5″) piece and now I have the cleanest tablets, TVs, phone, windows and mirrors I’ve ever had. Then I found many other uses, including fingerprints on doors and walls, my non-stainless appliances, faucets and spigots, my digital clocks, and windowsills. I just carried it around and cleaned any little thing that needed it. I cleaned everything with just a little water. Then I put a little dishwashing liquid on it to wash it out, and, yes it did show a lot of dirt still, but I pressed it between paper towels and no dirt transferred. Later in the day I picked it up again and it worked just as well. I think these 3 big cloths will last me several years, at least, and my bottle of Windex will last much much longer than that!

After you use the cloths, you should rinse them with hot water in the sink. According to the company, the rate of bacteria transfer from one surface to another after a warm rinse is only 0.01%, which feels pretty reassuring. But if you want to give them a really good soapy clean, you can throw them in the washing machine in hot water with a small amount of detergent.

Machine wash with laundry detergent or hand wash with dish soap in hot water. Rinse thoroughly. Using bleach will shorten the life of your micro fiber cloths. Do not use fabric softener (fabric softener leaves a film on the cloth and decreases its effectiveness). Be careful when machine washing or drying in mixed loads as micro fiber cloths will pick up lint from other fabrics. Air-dry or put in dryer on low to medium heat. Source: https://streakfreexl.com/.

LEV testing and monitoring services in the UK

Due to concerns over exposure to lead, the soldering industry has moved toward the use of lead free solders; these tend to be a tin/copper alloy. In order to compensate for the removal of lead another flux substance has to be used to aid the flow of the solder. One of the most commonly used fluxes is rosin or colophony. When heated, rosin creates fumes (known as Rosin Based Solder Flux Fume – RBSFF). This fume is composed of two fractions, the particulate fraction contains rosin sublimates and thermal decomposition products, which are predominantly a mixture of diterpentine acids, this fraction makes up approximately 90 % of the total fume. The remaining gaseous phase of the fume is composed of low molecular weight organic compounds including acetone, methyl alcohol, aliphatic aldehydes and other hydrocarbons.

The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) are the government body responsible for the regulation and enforcement of work related risks to people in the work place. Dust & fume exposure is a key element of the COSHH 2002 (Control of Substances Hazard to Health) regulations setting out exposure limits, preventative guidelines and on going reductions of the contact between people and hazardous gas and particulates. Under COSHH, companies must take steps to prevent, control, maintain and monitor dust and fume exposure in the workplace, as laid out in regulation 9.

A comprehensive LEV report will also be produced for each piece of LEV equipment tested. All of our LEV reports include photos and/or schematic diagrams showing all test point locations, which are also clearly identified on the ducting as required by the HSE. This includes the following in line with guidance from HSG258: Following an inspection, our professional LEV consultant will mark the LEV system as a pass or fail. We will also assist you in improving all control measures where necessary.

Equipment that draws pollutants from an operation or process in the working environment. Made up of an inlet like a hood, slit, arm, cabinet or booth. This will be located near to or close to the area of the substance release. All suchlike equipment needs to be connected by ducting and a fan to enable the movement of air. The removed air passed through a filter or is extracted to atmosphere away from the workplace. How Welding Supplies Direct can help ? WE will carry out a thorough tests in line with COSHH Regulation 9 as detailed in HSE Guide HSG258 Our levels of service can be tailored to your Companies needs. However, most clients choose to take advantage of by combining servicing with the LEV testing. See extra info on LEV Testing.

The employer decides who to employ or consult and needs to be an ‘intelligent customer’ to get the best result. HSE has produced simple guidance to help the employer choose a supplier when they are considering installing LEV (see HSE leaflet Clearing the air). Suppliers need to prepare their information to respond to this approach.

The first official flag of the United States was introduced on June 14, 1777 and represented our founding 13 colonies with thirteen stripes in red and white and thirteen stars. The American flag as we know it today has only been around since 1960 (July 4th, 1960, to be exact). It was introduced shortly after Hawaii became the nation’s fiftieth state, and in its long and tricolored history, there have been a grand total of 27 official, government approved versions: As states were added, so were the stars. What has remained consistent, the flags thirteen red and white alternating stripes—representing our original thirteen colonies. Citizens proudly hung their flags in front of their homes, schools and government buildings. They had great respect for their nation.

Weld nuts and weld studs are commonly used to provide a means for subsequent fastening of additional components and assemblies, or for periodic removal of service parts for maintenance and repair. When specifying welded fasteners, care should be taken not to tightly tolerance concentricity or perpendicularity to a datum plane, since this drastically increases cost. Weld fasteners located by holes punched by prior stamping operations are an accurate and generally preferred location method. For maximum cost-effectiveness, select weld nuts and studs of one size that will be used throughout the assembly. This helps to keep set-ups to a minimum and increases manufacturing throughput. Nuts located by holes are typically within ±0.006 (0.15 mm) of the original hole location. Studs can be located to ±0.020 (0.51 mm) with simple fixturing. Closer tolerances require more sophisticated and costly fixtures.

Position the welding torch with the wire in the center of the hole contacting the back sheet of metal. It is important to arc against this back sheet rather than on the edge of the hole, otherwise the weld might not penetrate into the back sheet. The torch should ideally be pointing directly into the hole rather than at the angle in the photograph. Start welding in this position and don’t move the welder until the hole is almost full of weld. Then move the welder outwards in ever increasing circles until the weld is completed.

The welding heat is generated by the electric current, which is transferred to the workpiece through copper alloy electrodes. Copper is used for the electrodes as it has a high thermal conductivity and low electrical resistance compared to most other metals, ensuring that the heat is generated preferentially in the work pieces rather than the electrodes. The amount of heat depends on the thermal conductivity and electrical resistance of the metal as well as the amount of time the current is applied. Other materials commonly spot welded include stainless steels (in particular austenitic and ferritic grades), nickel alloys and titanium. Read extra info at Spot Welder.

Portable spot welders are compact, lightweight and handy for difficult-to-access joints. As such, they are most commonly used in coachbuilding. They have an average welding capacity of 2 + 2mm and are relatively inefficient due to the fact that the electrodes aren’t cooled between cycles. Automatic adjustment makes it easier to adjust the spot parameters according to the thickness of sheet and welding head used.

Idea for personalized snowglobes

By the 1950s, innovation in plastics and injection-molding meant that snow globes could be made even more cheaply. Even the “snow” that floats around inside the globe, called “flitter” in the business, could be made from plastics—no need to use marble, bone chips, or ground rice anymore (mass-produced plastic glitter, which was allegedly invented in 1934, became part of the snow globe story only later). The water filling the globes was also frequently mixed with glycol, to make the snow fall more slowly, although sometimes it was mixed with far more lethal substances. At least one manufacturer, McMichael told The New York Times, began mixing antifreeze into the water to keep the globes from freezing and cracking during shipping. Stories of children becoming ill after drinking the water from snow globes sometimes made headlines, including one about children who became seriously sick after drinking snow globe water taken directly from polluted Hong Kong Bay.

Easily the most famous creators of strange snow globes are Walter Martin and Paloma Munoz. The couple’s art generally features grisly and melancholy miniature scenes that are photographed close up for drastic effect. This image is from their long-running Travelers series, all of which specifically take place inside of snow globes. Extra info at personalized snow globe.

Snowdomes, snowglobes, paperweights, snow machine, snow shakers, snow scene, water domes, water balls, dream globes, blizzard weights or dream balls were likely derived from heavy glass paper weights which were popular in the latter part of the 1800’s. The glass paperweights were made from costly materials which made the popular item inaccessible to the general public. Not only were snowglobes less expensive, they engaged the viewer. Snow globes are dynamic — creating a miniature snow storm descending on the encased diorama.

Thomas Edison invented the first string of electric Christmas lights. Edison brilliantly displayed a string of lights outside his workplace, the Menlo Park Laboratory in New Jersey, in 1880. The first people to see them were train passengers riding by the building. It was Edison’s partner, Edward H. Johnson, who took the idea and applied it to Christmas trees. He was the first person to hand wire 80 colored light bulbs and wrap them around his Christmas tree. Prior to this idea, people would try to light up their Christmas trees with candles.
